Once a week I have a very important video chat with a friend at Camp Zama Japan. She and I talk about life, business, and everything under the sun. This is why “I have Japan on the line” becomes so important to me. It’s time set aside each week to catch up and make an effort to be part of my friends’ lives. Another friend in Hawaii and I talk during her son’s nap time, it’s dinner for me and lunch for them, perfect. I make calls in the car, and I do my best to reach out to those special people who mean a lot to me but we’re always running and on the go. You never know, maybe they need that outreach as much as you do. Pick up the phone, get on a chat, and make time for the special people in your life. Love to you all (go call your mother!).
